HylaRest was developed to prolong the effects of wrinkle treatment by injection with hyaluronic acids, so-called ‘fillers’. HylaRest also protects the skin against free radicals and from premature new wrinkle formation and skin ageing.
The main ingredient, marshmallow extract, is of plant origin and reduces the activity of the endogenous enzyme hyaluronidase, which is responsible for the natural breakdown of hyaluronic acid in the skin. This significantly prolongs the plumping up effect of the wrinkles after the hyaluronan treatment. A follow-up treatment (further injections) can therefore be delayed.
HylaRest also contains Rutin, a bioflavonoid of plant origin. Rutin is similar to marshmallow in that it has the ability to reduce the activity of hyaluronidase (i.e. the degradation of hyaluronan). Furthermore, Rutin is known to strengthen the capillaries, which has a positive effect on collagen synthesis and thus on the increased firmness of all skin tissue, among other things.

Application/ Advice for the Institute
Open the crimp cap by pulling the circular tab in the direction of the arrow until the tongue of the cap is completely removed. The crimp cap can now be easily and completely removed.
Remove the rubber stopper from the vial and firmly push on the vial attachment.
After the attachment has clicked into place all round, the attachment cap can be removed. The product is now ready to be applied to the cleansed, oil-free skin. Apply a sufficient amount of the content of the vial onto the skin and introduce it into the skin by mesodrainage (treatment in the institute) or the MesoPen® (home treatment).
When the treatment is carried out at home, the product is applied 2-3 times per week with the MesoPen®.
